CRITS CRITS AND MORE CRITS

with the new damage deck coming out want to get that Major Hull breach, what better way to do that than flood them with crits.

Who does like crits? These guys, Basically use Colzet as a renewable CritFlipper and blocker also to provide Brath or Stele with a free targetlock to start the game off right.

I would love to walk up to a table at a tournament and see any of the lists in front of my opponent.

In boxing and swordfighting, fighters sometimes train to fight left handed. It's useful because most fight right handed, so training against left handed stances has necessarily less time devoted to it. Left handed fighters gain a familiarity advantage, because their opponents just aren't as used to their stance. Someone that know an (arguably) suboptimal list very well can prevail in circumstances that it seems like they shouldn't because of skill and familiarity.

I'm pretty sure you have just described Sable's whole philosophy. Which is both fun and annoyingly effective.

Well, it's pretty much my philosophy as well. I don't go quite as far afield as Sable, but I have very little interest in wringing the last 3% out of an excellent established list. I have much more fun figuring out how to leverage the advantages of less considered lists and ships.

Awesome, as always. Will have to read the rest of the thread later. One complaint, though...

...definitely a missed opportunity for "Sable's Stable".

I run a version of the demolition derby but I use:

WSF x2- each with Intel Agent and APL. The WSF is especially adept at this because of barrel roll. You don't need the Navigator because with most fairly safe central maneuvers you can barrel roll into position to block and use APL. With each weighing in at 33 points it leaves you with 34 points to fill in the list. I'm not a great pilot and I'm still learning to fly with it (and how to spend that last 34 pts) but I beat a skilled pilot who was using a Vader/Fel/Palp Shuttle. Its very fun to fly.

James?

Yep, it's me. Sam?

The Motley Crew...

because they're all about Crits, Crits Crits.

Yessir.

I like all 3 lists Sable, I'm going to give them all a real world go in the near future. Thanks for sharing!

BTW has anyone been able to get Vassal (sp?) to work on a Mac?

You should all thank the regular members of my league. They have to put up with these lists constantly as I develop and test them. :)

nice one sable but it needs more shuttles lol your lists are always something fun to fly something dreadful to fly against

I ran Latts Razzi (w/ K4) and Talonbane Cobra (w/ Glitter & Crack) last night and they performed incredibly. On both occasions they took enough damage off of Scum Boba (two different players) that Kavil with TLT and an Unhinged was able to clean up and remove Boba from the field in one round of shooting.

This weekend I think I'll bump Kavil for Drea (three dice and a TL ought to hit more consistently than four dice, right?) which frees up enough room to keep TBC as he is and upgrade Latts to Gunner & Tactician.

Yep, it's me. Sam?

Yessir.

Now kiss.
