I realize the importance of PTL Engine Upgrade Corran as an arc dodger...

But what are people's thoughts on Corran with Opportunist, R2D2 and FCS. I was thinking that most times I use his second shot, it is against ships without tokens. With an extra die and a target lock, the 2nd attack can be devastating. Sure there is stress, but R2 will be there to clean that up next round. Even if you don't use it, it can also be a psychological attack, making your opponent decide whether to keep the token.

my friend swears by VI on Horn, so ive never seen anything but. however a guaranteed trigger on opportunist does sound fun. because it happens during the end step, i'd imagine after token clean up.

The double-tap happens at the start of the end phase before token cleanup.

Opportunist Corran should do okay in a lower PS meta but will probably have issues against what's popular now because he's not as tanky PTL/AS/R2D2 Corran and isn't as arc-dodgy as VI/FCS/R2D2/EU Corran.

The stress caused by Opportunist is going to limit Corran's ability to GTFO on the rounds after he double-taps. PTL Corran gets around that with his token stack and R2D2 patching him up.

With Opportunist and Jan ors you can get a 10 dice attack with 2 shots, Flown this before. Not the ideal list you want to fly but sure is fun If you pull it off.

Seriously though, I think Opportunist doesn't fit with the Rebs that great.I would almost rather run Marksmanship and have auto Crits and hits with a Target Lock.
