I don't really expect more of the SWG fighters other than maybe the Dunelizard, mostly due to role overlap and honestly most of the small-ship ones are critting ugly.

I picked up a few of the X-Wing novels the other day at a used bookstore and just finished reading the Rogue Squadron comics on Marvel Unlimited. I was surprised at how much time they spend fighting in atmosphere. The author frequently mentioned how much easier TIEs were to fight since they lacked the aerodynamics of an X-Wing.

I wouldn't be surprised if the average Khiraxz spent as much time flying in atmosphere as it does in space.
