Today K-Wings became available today on amazon, I ordered one. I am wondering if I should have saved my money for the new core set. But September 4 might be an announcement date not a release date even though some stores seem to already have it ready.

I expect the K-wing is the better buy in the short term. A lot of helper cards there for other ships, and the K-wing is fun to fly too.

I don't think waiting for the core set is going to be a thing. There's no indication that anything in that set will invalidate any other purchases, especially one that just came out.

The only reason to wait is if it is a cash flow situation. If that's the case then which to buy is a pretty personal choice depending on the rest of your collection and preferences.

My plan too. The raider is as low as all the rest of the discount sellers $67 (or so) on Prime.
