Hey guys, I have had IA for a while but never had a game more than an intro game, now I have a tournament this weekend and I finally have the man himself, Mr. Fett, I want to run this list:

Boba Fett -13pts

Tusken Raider- 5pts

(Temporary Alliance- 1pt)

Heavy Stormtrooper- 6pts

Stormtrooper- 6pts

Probe Droid- 3pts

Imperial Officer- 2pts

Imperial Officer- 2pts

Rule by fear- 1pt (Maybe swap this for another Imp Off. as this list is 39pts)

Total: 39pts

Total of 7 activations which is average? I currently own:
1x Core Set

1x Twin Shadows

1x Royal Guard Champion

1x Rebel Sabs

1x Boba Fett

1x Kayn Somos

Would need to borrow an Imp Officer to run 3 greys.

I'm really looking to have some fun but want to be competative.

Any suggestions would be great.

If you want to run a list with the units you chose, I say get rid of the Probe Droid and Rule by Fear to upgrade the Stormtroopers and Tuskens to Elites.

Getting really high activation counts isn't as important now with the "pass" rules, I think.

I really like the extra health and auto-damage of the E. Tuskens. Well worth the 2 points.

Also, Elite Stormtroopers are probably my number one favorite deployment right now. With re-roll and surges, these guys are easily doing 3-5 damage per figure. With lucky enough rolls you can sometimes even take out guys like Luke or Han in a single activation.

By the way, I really really recommend picking up the Rebel Troopers pack for competitive play if you're using Stormtroopers. It comes with two command cards called "Reinforcements" that allows you to reinforce a defeated trooper to one of your deployment cards.

Lots of high health guys will hopefully stick around while dealing the pain

Reinforcements makes elite storm troopers absolute beasts. Kill one give another unit a focus then they come right back next round! They are also my favourite deployment at the moment. I'm currently running vader with two elite storm troopers and two officers. In the 5 games I've played with it it's been really strong.

But to keep with your theme I agree with stokes advise.
