- Hounds Tooth only if you're rich and money is not an issue. at 29 points this thing is only 1 point cheaper than a TIE Defender. You can only take 3 and the named pilots adding 4 to 6 you can take at most all the pilots except Bossk and only have 2 points to spare, but since they lack the synergy that IG-2000 Agressors have 1 is all you would want to field. Also you need to make sure you have a Most Wanted or Z-95 headhunter expansion pack first if you want to make use of the Natasha Pup before you go buying a second one.
I found this one odd. For one, why compare to the Tie Defender? I mean, it's not even the same faction. I always consider it pointless to compare to something in a different faction as you might be more than willing to pay more for a ship if it were in a different faction due to how it fits in with the rest of the list.
Next, you compare it to IG-88 and how two of them don't have synergy. Neither does the Firespray, but you see good lists with two of them in it. What's crazy is that you can even get THREE of these in a list, which is something you can't do with any other large based ship for Scum at the moment.
It is pretty cheap to have a lot of shield and hull in a list. It's not a turret, but it's got a 180 firing arc, which is pretty significant. It could be a good support ship for a list. It seems you are ready to dismiss it quickly when it hasn't even been field tested yet (except those on Vassal).
Of course, I say that with the fact that I'm not buying one. I'd rather have 2 Kihraxz fighters than 1 Hound's Tooth. More my play style, though. I could be wrong, though.
Because many people play for Standard, that 100 point list thus it shows how much it takes up. The example with the Aggressors is just to show why purchasing two of those large ships is justified but not purchasing two of the Hounds Tooth packs. There was not supposed to be any commonality between the Aggressor and Hounds tooth other than faction and large ship type.
Long story short 1 of the Hounds Tooth expansion pack is enough.
