So, for a 300 point epic list, i'm thinking Tim Horton + 7 golds, with a mix of TLT's and ions. Possibly as an escort for a GR75.
Can anyone think of a good list to work with this?

I know my opponent will bring an interceptor and Soontir centric list, with possibly phantoms.
Sure, why not!
Lock in a few Wharthogs with engine upgrades... but you know that prolly.
Fly good and you should be fine.

Warthogs or mass turrets?
I was considering adding a few X's for a laugh. They feel more thematically fit than Bs. (Obviously being epic this is casual).
You don't have 12 Y-Wings and TLTs just lying around?
Mix half and half Turrets and Hoggs.

... I do...

Right now I have 6. 4 gold 2 scum.
I'm not sure i want to do ALL y-wing. Also I have no problem proxying cards. again, this is casual.
It wouldn't be a big thing to order 4 more golds.
I'm Semi debating bringing the CR90 in and using Y's to firebase around it. (if anyone gets into the donut hole, they get quadgunned and or rammed).
Edited by DariusAPBY-Wings are just about awesome as guards for the Huge ships. X-Wings can lance out covered by Y-Wing's turrets; when it is time to nail the coffin shut.

Yeah that's my thinking.
I've also quickly created this list: I probably spent too much on the CR90.
300 Points
WED-15 Repair Droid
Engineering Team
Tibanna Gas Supplies
Tactician
Quad Laser Cannons
Single Turbolasers
Gunnery TeamSensor Team
Looks fine, just keep the Corvette in the fight.

One thing you could try is to run a pair of GR-75s along the outside edge of R2 channel around the board edge- equip them with EM Emitters and have your wishbones running the inside channel.
Your shots will be considered obstructed, but any shots on your Y wings will gain them a minimum of 3 extra defence dice thanks to the EM emitter - and the GR will fill the R1 donut hole.
Spend all your energy regenerating the shields on the GR-75s - bung a combat retrofit on for good measure and they'll take a while to bring down - while you can keep chipping away with your TLTs
alternatively you could be a little more aggressive (and sacrificial ) with your GRs and forgo shield regeneration for Jamming and Slicing.
You could fit all that in for 285 points - leaving room for a few astros - or whatever takes your fancy
I've been trying out Dutch with two Greys (PS4 allows them to shoot before the Raider if you can win initiative) as a Raider killer wing. Mix of turrets, and loaded with two Proton Torpedoes each. That can be made for 100 points.

I've also considered raider killing as a possible, but figured rather than torps - warthogs.TLT seems the obvious choice, though ions might still be better due to draining the raiders energy to fight back/recharge.
Quick question with epic ships, if you cripple the fore section, do your attacks automatically hit the back, or do you have to loop? Fairly sure i've asked before.

You can't target a section of a ship unless you can draw a line from the centre of the attacking ship's base to the centre of the huge ship's base for that section without that line passing through the blue line which divides each section.
If there was an exception that allowed you to shoot through if the section was crippled, I'd expect the rules to state that explicitly.
They dont.
Targeting a Huge Ship
To target a huge ship, choose a section (either fore or aft) of a huge ship that the attacking ship can target normally. Then, measure a line from the exact center of the attacking ship’s base to the exact center of the base for the chosen section of the huge ship. If this line is not obstructed by the blue center line on the huge ship’s ship token, the attacker can declare the chosen section as his target. The range of the attack is determined by the line measured from the closest point of the attacking ship to the closest point of the chosen huge ship’s section that is inside the attacking ship’s firing arc. If using an attack that ignores firing arcs, measure this line without regard to firing arc. If the attacker determines that he cannot target the chosen section, he may choose another target.
Thanks Funkleton, Yeah that's what i figured. Always thought it kind of odd but it plays to my strategies.

well I guess it might be on fire, suffering minor explosions and venting atmosphere - but it's still a great big hunk of metal
Just means if i lose my ship's fore I can use it for rams.
Just means i have to circle around any opposing cap.
Add Jan Ors to support a five-dice Proton Torpedo each round, with another ion turret for good measure. But man, the opening moves are hard. The Raider can melt one of the Y's before it even gets in range.
word to the wise: bring conners
******* thrusters are nigh impossible to crack with tlts
I brought 5 goldies, 1 warden (tlt and seismics), and miranda (tlt, c3po, seismics)
had a special K, lorrir, kanos, fel's wrath, AND carnor served up on a silver platter for this squad (nice alleyway of death between obstructions) and while I didn't lose a single ship kanos somehow escaped the murder-ball unscathed over 4 rounds.
I'm talking actionless (bumped) interceptors weathering tlt barrages down to the last dice roll. It's depressing how many attacks they gobble up.
whatever you do, bring conner's. Those things will crack interceptors wide open.
Wait... wait....
Someone played Fel's wrath?

Tim Horton?! I just got this and it's hilarious to me. As a 'Merican I could easily have missed it but I just moved to Alaska about 6 weeks ago and I wouldn't have made it without Mr. Horton. Seems like the only place you can get passable veggies on a sandwich anywhere west of Edmonton, eh? Also, dat double-double, tho.
EDIT: We 'Mericans aren't any better with cardinal directions than we are with units of measure, evidently.
