Glow rods = flashlights. They cast a directional beam of light. Fusion lanterns radiate light in a circle, like your standard coleman propane lantern; but they also act as portable battery chargers.

Still, like most of the others, he too is caught off guard by the door closing all of a sudden. But what is more, he feels Kovin's fear. Finding the young Togruta he puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder, reminding him that he is not alone. That he is surrounded by allies. By friends.

Could I use the Triumph to somehow help Kovin with his Failure?
To be honest, I was expecting you to use that Sense Danger talent! You should have crushed that check.
Since I don't allow Triumphs on a check to negate the effects of failure on the same check, yes, you may use the Triumph to embolden Kovin, negating his current fear penalties. Please narrate to that effect!
For the Threat, let's keep the strain going. 2 strain for Jonas!

This was not a planet he was familiar with, and the presence of the force, an entity he was especially not familiar with, made every little danger and conundrum that much more exotic and alien. He knew how to fight, and how to survive, but not on these terms.

Presumably we choose where to go. I made a Seek roll but that didn't achieve anything, so unless I could make another Kovin's instinct would be to go straight ahead and see what happens.

Fair enough. Perhaps at some point, it might simply occur to Maya that she does remember her lantern. Maybe someone else's statements could jog her memory
Or someone might remember using it at some point on the journey here.

Once again, darkness filled his thoughts and he shied away from it. Something about this place had him on edge. Truly it was strong in the Force - but not to his liking.
Hold off on any more skill check until everyone else has had a turn...but if you still want to proceed with this, I'll allow it. So if you want, you can roll an Average Vigilance check and then decide whether you want to flip use the dark side. Then we will just wait to narrate it until everyone has either made their skill checks or passed.

Whatever you like! I just wanted to give everyone a chance to respond in their own way. Please feel free to roleplay the Perception check and/or the unused dark side pips to your hearts' content. I'm sure your allies would be glad to know of the state of things as you perceive them.
Can I make a Discipline check to get my fear under control? (In other words, throw off the setback die?)
For this, you'll have to do something truly brave, or see something horrific...basically, you need something to change the status-quo since you've already failed on such a Discipline check this scene.
For example, you could take Kovin's information and boldly lead your allies into the room ahead, interposing yourself between them and any potential danger.
Any other creative ideas from the party are welcome as to how this might be accomplished!
