The skill checks were supposed to be (optional) Formidable Resilience checks, each upgraded once due to Dark Side destiny points. I think perhaps there was some confusion. I called for a single Survival check, which Kovin met with Failure & Triumph. No further Survival checks are needed at this juncture.

You will be happy to know that Xan's check and Firan's check are invalid, so you don't have to worry about more failure or Threat coming your way But thank you for the narrative bits!

Jonas has a nice little Advantage, perhaps to help someone else out with? FCastor, what say you?

The scene is still being established; in particular, we need to resolve Kovin's Triumph.

I am thinking maybe add a Boost to Maya's check if she chooses to make one (Resilience or otherwise)? Jonas is a nice guy, so he would lend his aid and support to the young girl, especially with her having such a bad impression of the Jedi so far.

Much appreciated, but Maya's just going to endure. Once the group has a chance to rest (which I thought was the next plan), she was going to tackle the rocks and investigate them. So a boost there would help a lot.

Tell you what. If you really want to use the Triumph to create some sort of shelter against the desert, that is fine. But resting and recuperating will take time. So for example, you can use the Triumph to create the above suggested oasis, but you'll have to camp overnight to actually take advantage of it. And it'll get cold at night, especially seeing as there isn't a cloud in the sky.

So, as long as you are prepared to deal with the cold of the nighttime desert, you may take a breather under some limited shade.

Please confirm that you'd like to use this option (I'd like Kovin's input, but any others are welcome as well).

It sounds like we're going to take a breather before tackling the stones, even if we won't benefit from being rested. Stagnation is a PbP's worst enemy.

After I made my survival check, I seem to recall awayputurwpn saying both mine and someone else's were invalid...but that post seems to be gone.

Hey guys, so sorry for the unplanned absence. WiFi wasn't wanting to work, and mobile data was pretty much unavailable until just now, on the way back to the airport. Trip is almost over, and we should be back to our regular adventuring soon.

I know lulls like this can tend to kill off PbPs, but trusting that you are still keen to continue, I should be in contact within 24 hours, after getting home and depending on my level of jet lag
