Cool. Thanks for the bonus.
Question: Are we in a new round? Or are we waiting for a post from the GM first?

Edited by FCastorYeah. It's a new round.
Kinda slow moving on this encounter, aren't we? Partially my fault, sorry about that. But I think enough of you have gotten a jist of how to scare these birds away, and now that you're in contact with each other and have the use of Kovin's Seek power, you can each make a Hard skill check that determines how you rid yourselves of the birds and meet up with the others. Failure just means you receive wounds in the process.
Go ahead and make the checks, narrate the results, and then we can proceed with the narrative!
Where can I find the closest person who's not just broken Kovin's heart and ruined his trust?
At this point, this is all you guys. You go ahead and narrate the gathering together—feel free to discuss things in the OOC thread, but don't overthink it—and I'll let you know if you need to make any skill checks. For mechanical purposes, you all started at extreme range from each other, but this is narrative time now, so range bands don't matter all that much, and I'm not going to be enforcing an absolutist vision of exactly where each character is in relation to the others. I'm putting the narrative power in your hands. Keyboards.
After the scene is resolved, you may spend that extra XP.
So we could all just get together without time being a factor? Could we thus have the others arrive in a particular clearing, then Kovin, then Maya, to allow for maximum dramatic emotional action.
That's mostly how I imagined it.
Should we get approval from the rest, or just assume that the will of the Force brings them together?
I certainly do not mind.
I'll get an IC post up tomorrow morning (about 7 hours). You have until then to object to me slightly auto-piloting the rest of you.

This is a good idea. Please run with it when you awake, unless there are any strong objections.
Well my only serious objection is the assumption that I can't sleep post, but as it's a correct assumption I don't really mind.
So I just came back on, and saw how Xan and Maya's little discussion is going.
I aim to please.
Is this serious heat here? I mean I argue a lot on the internet, but this is getting serious...
Sorry. I love good drama. If I upset anyone, that's not my intention. No harm feelings and all that
Also, I'm fine with moving the scene along. I'm sorry if I took up part of the spotline. The scene will be important to her character development and her redemption
So noted, but it's what he would do. And given the fact that we're looking for old Jedi relics and are the survivors of a Jedi Order that's been nearly hunted to extinction by the Sith, I don't think Xan's caution regarding a former Sith who's flatly stated she considers the Jedi worse than the Sith is unwarranted or unusual.
Very well! It's the lack of compassion that will cause Xan to suffer 1 conflict.
After all, you are at this point neither her friend nor her master, and so this harshness cannot be foiled by any sort of close relationship.
If compassion continues to be eschewed in the face of mistrust, more conflict may be awarded without prior warning!

Agreed. Much hinges on this moment, and on Maya's response.
Well, as long as it is IC only and all, I rather like this drama and conflict of beliefs. So no worries about hogging the spotlight, so to speak.
No worries of course. However given how this is going I'd like to see how far both parties will go before they back down. This is some seriously impressive ICing, so I wouldn't want to force any metagaming for the sake of plot advancement.
For the sake of party cohesion, it's probably better that the situation diffuses before things get even more out of hand. Both parties are very steadfast, so I don't think either was going to give up their points so easily without someone else stepping in like they did.
Should we spend the bonus free xp now?
Should we spend the bonus free xp now?
Yes, please!
Vague visions are too vague. I'm picking up the strength upgrade to Foresee and banking the remaining 5XP.
Went with Parry 1. Do we remove Strain?
