I suppose someone to take the initiative. We've got a lot of voices throwing out suggestions and I think people are a little hesitant to just make a move.

Maya and Kovin have pooled their Force acumen to outline the best course ahead. Now we just need the catalyst! I believe that's Xan's power check combined with Firan's Formidable Ranged (Heavy) check with 2 setbacks.

Reminder: this takes effect only in structured play (e.g. combat), specifically performing the assist maneuver .
It is different from other abilities, notably the Drall's, which only affects Skilled Assistance, which means assistance lent outside of structured play and utilizing the Drall's higher skill rank or characteristic.
It's a balance thing.

It sounds like Seifer and Jonas are intent on preparing for trouble, which is totally cool. Your call if you wanna wait for Xan to do his Move-thing or not.
(Either way, I'll be spending a Destiny Point to upgrade the difficulty of the check. So that's 1 Challenge die, 4 Difficulty dice, and 2 Setbacks)

So I just roll my Force die, then, plus all those challenge, setback and difficulty dice, plus four automatic successes? Those count as Light side pips, then?
Or is it a Discipline check, like last time?
EDIT: I think you were referring to Firan's ranged check only, so I just need a Force die roll, correct?

(BTW I added incorrectly at my last count...a Formidable check is 5 dice, not 4. I gave you the correct difficulty one page back!) Firan is now set up to make that Formidable Ranged combat check (in place of a Stealth check) to distract the Flesh Raiders. So that's a total of 1 challenge die, 4 difficulty dice, and 2 setbacks. Firan can suffer 2 strain to remove one setback die.

When we are nearing the end of the three month commitment, I'll ask for renewals from you guys, so that we can keep playing if you want to. The game could, in theory, go for as long as any of us wanted.
I'll be giving out 20 XP on a regular basis, at a rate that is approximately "whenever I feel like it"
basically, when it feels like a solid session of play, we'll call it and do the whole XP, Morality, and Destiny Point thing.
Which reminds me, make sure and drop your strain to zero, everyone.

You can have my renewal. This is fun. Not only that but I am in for the long haul.
Also, btw, Duty increases are being held until those with Duty scores can get a report back to the Resistance. But you can expect to see a sizable increase, as long as you stay true to your Duty.
I'm in for a while, or at least until the weight of PbP games becomes too much and I have to bow out. So NEVER!!!!
