Seems too similar to IG-88.

Also there's no means of keeping track of who strain was inflicted by (especially in skirmish).

Seems a bit broken. 5 move and arsenal and ferocious? For 12 cost? Cherie is 15 and he's not that good. I think 4 move, green+red and ferocious would be more appropriate for 12. I also think one step ahead is broken on its own, maybe something like nonelites cannot use abilities against Bossk or something.

I really like ferocious though. I think something like that will make it into the game soon.

Although I really like the idea behind "One Step Ahead", that is a really powerful ability for a 12 point cost with 12 HP. Abilities are what make most units effective or scary. Also, abilities are one of the HUGE things that makes units different from each other and not just a roll of the dice when attacking.

I have tried a couple of times to write my thoughts on this while keeping it concise, but it keeps trying to turn its self into an essay, which I don't want to write here. "One step ahead" is a good idea, but it would severely cripple many units in the game and possibly break the design/balance of cards/figures. If it were to be used, you would need to pay a lot for it, but also have it destroyed easily.

I do think that the surge ability of adding strain is an interesting and fun idea. I will have to try it out with a friend and see if it is effective or would be used at all in our home games.
