Want more iconic Star Wars locale tiles, like the Mos Eisley Cantina!

By Stormtrooper721, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I just played the DRINKS AND DEALINGS skirmish on the Mos Eisley Cantina map and absolutely loved it! My enjoyment of the game was greatly increased just because it was the actual iconic Cantina seen in A New Hope rather than some random drinking hole.

FFG, PLEASE make more of these iconic actual onscreen location tiles in the future!

I'm hoping for the Tantive IV, Death Star, Cloud City, the Endor Bunker, Jabba's Palace (with Rancor pit!), Echo Base, Docking Bay 94, and others!

Sarlacc board. Tiles on the outside for the "mouth" and then more tiles on the inside for the stomach and innards (which could be played at a forced mission: Eaten Alive!)

How about the Great Pit of Carkoon with the Sarlacc, a skiff, and Jabba's Sail Barge? Unless they have a jet pack, characters have to make a dexterity roll to jump between the Sail Barge and Skiff. If they fail, they fall into the Sarlacc pit and are defeated.

No.

Because it won't be a "giant" hangar - it will be five squares wide, which shouldn't be big enough to park a Buick, let alone a bunch of snowspeeders and the Falcon. IA's drastically foreshortened ground scale is a necessary evil to make the game workable on its boardgame tile system, but cramming all of Echo Base onto a map the size of a cafeteria tray doesn't add any immersion for me.

I would like to see tiles for the inside of a rebel ship, like what we now have for a Star Destroyer but in white. Maybe have some missions where you have to repel imperial boarders and maybe even set up for an Imperial campaign.

I agree, the scale of the game is to small for Echo Base. However the scale could work for a small outpost. I could easily see something like the tiny "Echo Base" from the first two battlefront games. Although they would still have to make the hangar smaller. Alternatively, on the Battlefront topic, we could see Echo base if the little end caps to the hallways are filled with snow to suggest collapsed hallways. This way we could just have little sections of the base to play in.
