Mine token stacking

The line in the FAQ that only lets a ship drop a single bomb in a round would stop it.
This applies to mines as well? I can see the line in the faq about bombs but mines are different are they not?
A bomb is anything that fills the Bomb upgrade slot, regardless of whether it is called a mine, a bomb, or anything else they may decide to call something for fluff reasons that fills that particular upgrade slot.

Mines are Bomb Upgrades and godofcheese is a ninja.

you CAN however drop a mine/bomb.... then using advanced sensors (the next turn assuming its still there) drop another bomb (that has ACTION on it) on top of the previous, not sure how that would play out in order however.

Likewise, you can drop an "action" mine at the end of your turn, and then the next turn, prior to revealing your dial, drop a seismic-esque bomb. This would mean the two are on top of each other (though they have a different trigger for exploding).
As for the order they explode (if they're both on contact), the player who drops the mine gets to determine it I believe. If one player owns each, the players with init goes first. I think.
You could move then drop your mine. Then next turn Adv Sensors and drop another mine on top of the first.
