Complete Hasbro Force Friday Catalogue

By Conandoodle, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Good people,

Here is the complete catalogue for Hasbro's release on Sept 4. I don't need to say it but there may be some spoilers.

I would like to take a moment to thank FFG for the quality plastic we get for *our* toy spaceships.

Bladebuilders.........

Bladebuilders.........

I saw that and thought .. WTF is that thing? The force is not strong with Hasbro!

MICRO MACHINES ! ! !

I might be a little excited by that.

Remote control BB-8. Done.

Wookie furby...excuse me while I go to procure several dozen empty bottles a collection of rags and some petrol.

I'm pretty sure that Furby came straight from the depths of hell.

I look at those Micromachines and think, "Cool! I need to get 1 of each of those TIEs and X-wings!"

Then I realize I'm collecting a 1/270 scale miniatures game -- I might as well just get the X-Wing versions.

Can someone please explain to me what these little things are that you have to buy three figures and then you put the stuff together to make the thing...? If that made sense

I'm not exactly sure what the thing is that you're building, but it's a way of encouraging you to buy every figure. Each figure comes with a piece of this weapon thing and you can only build it if you have all the pieces. I think it's stupid and the weapons don't look very Star-Warsy to me. They look like something from Robo Rally.

Exactly my thoughts. I loved the Build-a-droid thing they had a while back, but this is a bit of a nope.

What in the world is that Y-wing Scout Bomber? It's like a Y-wing mixed with a short bus. Looks derpy as hell.

Might be something we see in Rebels season 2.

This Star Wars Risk looks interesting:

Can I truly call myself a Star Wars fan if I don't have a lightsaber?

Might have to get one.

I don't think that's Risk. I think it's something new. It sort of looks likr Dejarik with ships instead of little monsters.

It sure doesn't look like risk, but the logo on the backs of the cards is definitley Risk.

I'm curious about that one too.

Oh. You're right. It didn't look like "Risk" on my mobile, but now that I'm on the desktop it's clear as day.

Those bladebuilder lightsabers, man... Gaaah! they make Kylo Ren's look normal by comparison.

The Falcon does look kinda good with a giant gun on it...

I'm pretty sure that Furby came straight from the depths of hell.

They should have made it an Ewok or a Jawa.

Not sure what's up with givving the characters extra armor (wich I'm assuming they won't have in the movie).

But then again it reminds me of MASK so that's ok.

I love how the Risk board looks like a TIE. Well played Hasbro.

I cringed at that Y-Wing thingo too. I hope its a stylised Y-Wing.

Yeah... I kind of hope its just a toy and not an actual in universe ship.

I don't know why they just didn't make a Phantom toy.

Doesn't count until you've made your own. Not just bought a kit. Made. Your. Own.

As a child I made one out of kitchen and toilet roll holders does that count?

Did it make 'vroom kshhhhhh wioooow' noises? If so, I would count it.
