boba and bossk

Need a little help. Thematically I really want to do a Boba & Bossk/ moralo list.

So far I've come up with

Boba with VI, tactician, EU, ID, and proton bomb (52)

Which leaves 48 for bossk, I'd like him (35) to have VI or predator, HLC, mercenary co pilot (2) outlaw tech (2) , tactician (2) and EU (4) which would leave him at 53 or 55

The basic game plan is get boba in the middle of everything causing chaos while bossk stays in corner/ edge supporting and protecting his rear

My thoughts were:

I could lose proton bombs on boba but they're ace for him

I could switch HLC for mangler but like the chances of getting more hits through with 4 dice against higher agilities

I could switch bossk for moralo but then I would really need engine upgrade as I'd be definitely leaving myself more vulnerable

I know there would be better support with boba but I really like the idea of boba and YV together

Just to add. I've played the list and unless the YV stays close-ish to Boba, he gets whittled down by turrets despite his rerolls. So something like lone wolf on Bossk probably won't work

Have you tried running the YV as Latts?

If you are determined to keep Boba's Proton Bomb and Bossk as the pilot, here is what I would do

Bossk + Calculation + Engine + Mercenary Copilot + Outlaw Tech + Tactician (or K4 Security Droid) for a total of 46 (or 47).

However, I like the possibilities with HLC putting more damage down on in arc targets. You would have to drop the Proton Bomb and fill up the remaining 2 points (opting for tactician over K4). HLC shots at range three turns into upwards of five damage plus any additional crits calculation can kick out. Your range two shots are all devastating with Tactician, and Outlaw tech provides that key focus to use with Calculation should you need your zero or a sharp turn.

Another good option you have for thematics is the Bossk crew.

In that instance, your YV could be loaded out like this:

(47) Moralo Eval + Ion Cannon + Tactician + Bossk + Gunner + Maneuvering Fins

Your Gunner shot becomes primary, but can double stress targets at range two. If your ion shot hits you have control over that target for Boba to pounce on. Less damage overall, but still a thematic bounty hunter type feel.
