So as we all know we are getting three new packs mainly for skirmish one of which is a duplicate for a unit in the Core Set, the Storm troopers, with alternate sculpts. What other units from the Core Set, or Expansions would we like to see with alternate sculpts, missions, and etc?

Yeah, these two are right at the top of my list, too. They're solid units for their factions, and you would have to get four core sets to have a full playset of each (and then you'd have more elites than you could use). Nexus and E-Webs suffer from the same problem, but I don't see them as units very many people would want to field a full set of.

Everything in the boxes should be doubled in figure packs. I don't want to drop another $100 for a core box to make a 4x4 when I could just buy the figure packs for less than $30.

I know some people have said that they find it weird that a scout trooper is manning the E-web, so maybe they could have the alt sculpt be a normal storm trooper manning it or even have a snow trooper considering the Return to Hoth expansion. Trandoshans could easily have their alt sculpt using different weapons or just in another pose and the royal guards could be thrusting their force pikes out. Granted having mirror versions of the guards where they have their staffs pointed out would be really cool as well, kind of like having it where they are blocking the way for anyone trying to attack their charge.

That said I'm sure some people would be fine with just reprinting the existing sculpts or might not want them to be different for the sake of consistency.

I would prefer new sculpts if they end up putting out core-set figures as expansions.

Now that there's precedent with the stormtroopers, hopefully we'll see others like trandos, officers, and royal guards.

I want them all eventually but I hope RG are saved until last.

I think everyone is sick of 4x4 at the moment and making it easier for people to play this list would be bad for the meta at the moment. The pack would also contain the cards to make the list even better... maybe in a year I'd be ready for that.

I would like to see new sculpts of the Royal Guard and Trandoshans but would rather see completely new units 1st. The way the new Storm Troopers have been done is quite good being mixed into a wave of other units.

I could care less about alternate sculpts. FFG just needs to fix the situation with generics in their boxed expansions. It's a huge turn off.
