Hello all, basically I'm wondering how c3po works, does homing missiles negate the usage of them or does c3po still effectively guarantee 1 evade result in this case?

3PO doesn't add a token, and so can be used against both type of Homing Missile (your question seems to be about Homing Missile, not the advanced ones)

Homing Missiles only stop the defending using evade tokens, not evade results. So 3PO is rather good against them.

C-3PO and Adv. Homing Missiles don't interact.

With Homing Missiles I'd say that C-3PO doesn't involve any Evade tokens, so since he's just adding a result to the dice and not adding a token there's again no real interaction.

Yeah totally derped and ment to say homing missiles. I was under the assumption that c3po added a token because I thought it could be used in conjunction with the dice rolled with lando. Looking back now it makes complete sense what is happening in both cases and I'm just a derp haha

To explain:

C3P0 can be used when you're using agility dice, not just when defending.

Lando uses agility dice, and transforms all results into their respective tokens.

If you guess correctly on Lando, C3P0 produces a Result, which is added to the pool that Lando will convert to Tokens.

Notably, a correct guess with C3P0 when using the Lando ability is more difficult to achieve than with a 1 agility ship, but more valuable (as you can chose not to spend an Evade Token if you roll an evade, rather than simply having guessed incorrectly).

Also, the C3P0-Lando combo still works if your opponents reduce your agility to 0.
