Ignoring Members in your settings!

You can ignore all posts from certain individuals on these forums by doing the following steps:

1) Click/tap on your username at the top of this page

2) Click/tap My Settings

3) On the left side click/tap 'Ignore' Preferences

4) Enter the member's name that you want to Ignore

5) Choose what you want to ignore (I usually pick everything!)

6) Click/tap Save Changes

Ive done this with THREE members here so far and its cleaned up my reading experiences immensely at these forums! If enough of us ignore the same trolls, eventually they wont have an audience and will disappear!!! (I see one of the three has actually been BANNED from the forum!!!)

^probably me, apparently I have that effect and should kill myself

here's an adblocker filter that completely hides the white "post hidden" element, you'll only see stuff when quoted. I have yet to figure out if you can block quotes with a specific username in the opening tag.

He also started a thread in the immediate aftermath of the [redacted] leak, describing all the information from the leak about [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted].

EDIT: Looks like the thread is still there, although the descriptions are gone. Or maybe I'm misremembering what was in the OP, since there was a lot going on that night.

I primarily dont like seeing people being mean to guys, (esp nubes) just because they ask questions which seem "obvious" or "simple!" I guess its the teacher in me and wanting to have an environment where people can enjoy learning and have fun with their hobby!

You can block all of the board's emoji like this, using AdBlock:

Unfortunately, it won't work on embedded images--and you won't be able to block things like Joe's "BAD POST" without blocking every image on the board.

There's an absolutely fantastic adblocker extension that lets you select elements visually on the page and fine-tune the exact arguments to block in the tag, see list above.

Unfortunately, it won't work on embedded images--and you won't be able to block things like Joe's "BAD POST" without blocking every image on the board.

There's an absolutely fantastic adblocker extension that lets you select elements visually on the page and fine-tune the exact arguments to block in the tag, see list above.

I primarily dont like seeing people being mean to guys, (esp nubes) just because they ask questions which seem "obvious" or "simple!"

Newcomers generally get quite a lot of help on this forum. Pretty much everyone is happy to help new players out.

When posters who've been on the forum for 3+ years are posting nothing but help request topics for what is really pretty basic stuff when you get right down to it, that's a different matter. A little bit of snark is perfectly acceptable under those circumstances, I'd say.

When posters who've been on the forum for 3+ years are posting nothing but help request topics for what is really pretty basic stuff when you get right down to it, that's a different matter. A little bit of snark is perfectly acceptable under those circumstances, I'd say.

A newcomer, however, would not easily see that someone is a regular here and will just see someone get snarked at and possibly decide to go elsewhere.

Postcount for instance means nothing when there are a lot of other forums for other games.
