the doctor called him right before and told him he has to supplement intravenously with testosterone because he has an uterus growing inside his brain

I want your drugs~
You, too, have a uterus growing inside your brain?
I mean, it'd explain a lot?

That's the original definition of Hysteria, funnily enough.

You really don't want the drugs of those ancient physicians.

There is dice blaming and there is dice blaming ;-)

It depends on how one handles himself after the game. I've seen people disgrace themselves by saying stuff like: "Congrats, i mean, congrats to your dice!" This is poor sportsmanship.

I did not spectate the game and can't say how the dice fell, but under no circumstances is a remark like that remotely okay (in my book). Saying the game was won only by superior rolls is neither helpful nor gentlemenlike. Also, it is a huge disrespect towards your opponent.

Is dice blaming ever okay? Well, yes and no. Depends on how one handles it. There is a huge difference between saying:

"Whoah, that was a close match. I guess, we both flew equally well and made no mistakes. Well, in the end the dice had to decide the game"

and

"You lucky bastard! Without your lucky rolls I would have won this game. Only the dice saved you from defeat."

Sure, there are freak rolls, but then the opponent should concede that lady luck was on his side. If the opponent doesn't, then suck it up. Ranting about freak rolls will neither win the game nor earn a lot of respect from anyone. And the opponent will be even less likely to concede that he was lucky. But in the end: Does blaming the dice help in any way? It helps to protect fragile egos who can't handle unlucky defeats, but won't help to improve one's game.

My 2 cents.

Yeah I am thinking that the spice runner swarm needs to be banned! !

And have your phone on silent

Dice blaming, whining, calling for bans and so on are poor sportsmanship imho.

I had a match at Nationals where my opponent killed a healthy Firespray with a Phantom in two attacks (not two rounds of attacks from the whole list, two attacks). Am I allowed to blame the dice in that case?

I generally leave it up to my opponent to give me leave to blame the dice - I always return the compliment if I roll like a god

I hate to see his attitude when playing against Admiral Chirpy or IG-88 B :D

Well a tournament is a tournament, you play to win. Now I know no one likes losing and getting helplessly dominated bringing that feeling of hopelessness is one of the worse feeling around. But you really can't control other peoples behavior. Just play the game and if they pick up then be a good sport don't rub it in and move on.

Yeah you are going to come across the worst of the table top miniatures. I will admit for the most part it is not as bad as some of the worst of the Warhammer 40,000 players but as this game grows in popularity you can expect to see some of that bad behavior making its way here and those that had played Warhammer 40,00 has a pretty good idea of what to expect in the future. Still you can't control the behavior of others you can only control your behavior and not let their bad mood get to you.

So I went to my local shop for a tournament for the summer kit. I showed up running the classic Bounty's nightmare list ran by Sable Gryphon in the Austin regionals. My first match I faced tie advanced swarm with accuracy corrector and the tie title with Darth Vader leading with advanced targeting computer. He did not fly well as Boba was in range 1 at all times and the match was over in about 10 turns. He complained that the store should ban lists and my list was too good, and I shouldn't bring a nationals winning list to a store tournament. My wisdom is, is he right? Or is he just being a sore loser because he got demolished with a list he has wanted to run for months?

It was a TOURNAMENT. Low profile sure, but a tournament all the same. Dude's a sore loser.

Sleep easy, friend.

When I do well because of my dice, I gloat like a Mo-Fo.

I serve at the pleasure of the Dark Side, and, apparently, the Dark Side feels that I am a pleasure MACHINE!
