The Idea behind this was to more or less cancel out range 4-5 attacks. Corran takes the crits to keep the transport and Biggs alive and hopefully making the 130-150 points you invest into a CR90 or Raider almost useless. Then you use the other 185 squad points to rain hell down on your opponent.

what do you think

If faced with this, I'd keep the big guns back for a bit to allow some higher PS to close with Biggs, forcing you to use the Shield Projector on an otherwise inconsequential attack after which the big ships blasts Biggs out of the sky.

Of course, what will you fill the rest of the list with though?

If you put Antilles and Farr on the Transport you could make life rather hard for a scout.

this is the whole list I wound take put the transport between the Raider/CR90 use Dash and the X wings to take out the enemy fighters while the others take on the Huge ship

couldn't play this today in a list but a friend did and once he learned how to use it (on the 3rd game) the way the transport just takes the hits corran the crits and biggs lives for a very long time made it hard to kill anything fast
