Ive done this with THREE members here so far and its cleaned up my reading experiences immensely at these forums! If enough of us ignore the same trolls, eventually they wont have an audience and will disappear!!! (I see one of the three has actually been BANNED from the forum!!!)
Thanks That was most helpful!!
For all the good and great players, I wish to apologized to you, because you had to experience such needless negative. And you have my sincere thanks for answering my simple and humble question.
For those posters that were insulted my intelligence, just because I asked a simple question. I bear you no ill will. And I sincerely wish that on one treats you as poorly as I have been treated.
p.s. Disclaimer: I have lots of simple question that needs answered. So everyone get ready.
I believe this dead horse has been sufficiently beaten.

I find it funny that you use teach a man to fish parabol. Saying "read the card" is like giving a man a fishing rod and saying fish. Teaching a man would be giving him the rod, showing him how to apply bait, then showing the proper reeling technique, which in this case could be," Read the card, don't add or subtract anything from the card. If there is no limiters supplied on the card it usually means it can be used multiple times, use this knowledge for any other card like it." What you did like many others is just being a flippant disgrace to the boards. I don't care what your excuse is, nor am I going to touch further on the subject. I hope you have a pleasant rest of the evening and I am sorry that you find your job so unsatisfactory, but take it else where.

At this point we've amply covered the ways that Tipperary's response to devotedknight's question could have been smoother. I don't want to relitigate that.
I do, though, want to give devotedknight some free, unsolicited advice, that would also have made all this go so much more smoothly. You are of course free to ignore this, but I hope you don't.
First: next time you have a simple question about what a card does, ask it in the Rules Questions subforum. You would have stood a much better chance of getting a quick "Yes. Once per attack, provided its condition is met," in answer. If you ask a rules question outside of the dedicated forum for same, you're inviting a broader discussion.
Second: If you ask a question about the way a card works and somebody tells you "Read the card," there's more information packed up in that response than you might have seen at first glance. They're not just saying "I don't want to answer this question," they're saying "You may be overthinking this, because this card is actually pretty straightforward," (that's in their opinion, of course). But if you've got two competing ideas of what a card means, this response is telling you to pick the simpler one. Now of course if you were confused to begin with you're probably not going to be super confident of your interpretation even with that hint, which brings us to my last point:
Third: Ask clarifying questions. If you're not sure what is meant by a response, don't just ask the question again (or ask for somebody, anybody, else to please answer the question!). Imagine for a moment this wonderful alternate timeline:
devotedknight: Can I use it both in Attack and Defense? And how many times during Defense can I use it?
Tipperary: Read the card.
devotedknight: Are you saying there isn't a limit on how often it can be used?
hypothetical third party: Yeah, that. If it could only be used a certain number of times it would say so.
digitalbusker: *cheerfully goes about his day, without having to headdesk or facepalm.*
(I recognize that even in this version there's a very real chance that devotedknight leaves with the mistaken impression that Lone Wolf lets you keep rerolling green dice until they stop coming up blank, but there's only so much civility can accomplish in a short time.)

I'm just catching up on this delightful thread, and I wanted to point out something.
Actually the wording is incorrect from a Grammar Perspective AND a Logic perspective, (I’m referring to Boolean Logic, the basis of all computer logic.),
There are three basic operations.
AND (Conjunction): Which includes Both circumstances. For example, can be used both in Attack AND Defense. Another example would be, “I would like butter AND jelly on my toast.”
OR (Disjunction): Which includes only one circumstance, For example, use either during your Attack or Defense, but not both. Another example would be, “Would you like Tea OR Coffee.”
NOT (Negation), which flips the circumstance to the other state. (And has not bearing on this conversation.)
The wording on the card is actually incorrect, and should read “When attacking and defending,” to be correct.
The card is written correctly to express its meaning.
Edited by Vorpal SwordThat speaks more to a comprehension-level failure of a scale that would preclude playing the game, at which point assistance would be moot.He obviously didnt understand the meaning and wanted clarification! The card answers the question.
Quit being an a hole..
He was asking for clarification about an ability that is almost too good to be true. It's not a comprehension failure to ask for clarification when such a great ability is so under costed and efficient compared to other abilities that are already released.
Now please, crawl back into your miserable hole and allow the well mannered adults to talk.
People like you are a dime a dozen online.
sorry for not meeting your standards

The balancing factors are the Range 2 bubble and the fact that it's unique.

Eh, this gets about a 3/10. It feels cliched and, frankly, superfluous--good rudeness should flow naturally from context, but here you're trying to force it.

sorry for not meeting your standards
have trouble spelling the word "standards"? I noticed it is formated different (copy and paste from google?)
I have a hard time when I see bullies.... something inside of me wants to bully them and make them feel what others feel... I WILL NEVER JOIN YOU!....
It's formatted differently because I type all my BBCode by hand and did that on purpose?
Bullying implies an intent to harm, so you're vastly misinterpreting anyway.
I still don't know why you guys think responding to this thread will make anything any better.
