3x Adv. + HR

so, some kind of swarm adaption. Concept is as simple as possible. Keep in formation, and get as much hits/crits as possible. Maarek's Ability works quite well with the Targeting Comp, and Howl gets SU and PTL to survive at long as possible.

Wingman (2)
Advanced Targeting Computer (1)
TIE/x1 (0)

"Howlrunner" (18)

You might be better off with something like this.

Maarek Stele (27)
Predator (3)
Advanced Homing Missiles (3)
Advanced Targeting Computer (1)
TIE/x1 (0)
Tempest Squadron Pilot (21)
Accuracy Corrector (0)
TIE/x1 (0)
Tempest Squadron Pilot (21)
Accuracy Corrector (0)
TIE/x1 (0)
Lieutenant Colzet (23)
Fire-Control System (0)
TIE/x1 (0)
Total: 99

I think you're going to have issues with getting TLs on the Tempests due to their low Pilot Skill. For a point more than you are spending on Wingman, you can get Predator on Stele which gives him all the advantages of flying in formation with Howlrunner. Swapping Howlrunner out for Colzet lets you use him to flip back on nice crits that that get turned face down after resolving. I've got the Advanced Homing Missile on Maarek to give him the chance to one-shot two hull ships like Phantoms and E-Wings or to get an early debilitating hit on fatties (that Colzet can keep flipping up after they clear it).

Use the spare point for either Munitions Failsafe for Stele or to give him the Mk. II Engine. An initiative bid doesn't really do much for you (it will help against Dash or Blue Squads though).

I still haven't got the Raider cards for actual test, but I was working on a similar concept, what do you think about switching Predator for Push The Limit and Munitions Fail Safe? Getting into range 2 may prove difficult and a second action for Barrel Rolling into place could help.

If you put PTL on Maarek, he really needs the Mk. II instead of the Munitions Failsafe. The Advanced dial by itself doesn't have enough green to get a lot of use out of PTL. I'm not sure I even like PTL with the Mk. II since you won't have any green hard turns.

Honestly, I saw that I had 4 points left over and the AHM seemed like it stuck with the crit theme the OP was going for and had a lot of synergy with both Colzet and Maarek's ability. I'd treat firing off the AHM as a happy accident. Even if you never get to fire it off I'd expect that it will scare the hell out of anything that Maarek has a TL on and make range two in his arc a place you can expect certain ships to never end up..

I really like that idea of maarek with the adv. homing, but actually i'am limited to wave6 + raider.

after wave 7 i think about something like the following, mostly because i really like bombers :>

Maarek Stele (27)
Predator (3)
Advanced Homing Missiles (3)
Advanced Targeting Computer (1)
Munitions Failsafe (1)
TIE/x1 (0)

Tempest Squadron Pilot (21)
Advanced Targeting Computer (1)
TIE/x1 (0)

TIE/x1 (0)

Scimitar Squadron Pilot (16)
Extra Munitions (2)
Proximity Mines (3)

I agree that Push the Limit needs Mk2 TIE, but I wouldn't use it a lot. Its primary purpose is to help keep Maarek alive early on when you have to grab a TL and you don't want to be tokenless on defense. Unfortunately Mk2 means no engine upgrade---boost is going to become clutch as an anti-twin laser enabler...
