Same here. I work out sometimes to Nova Squadron Radio, or finish listening to them while I am cleaning out my garage or doing other work type chores. This weekend I did some painting at a local church and listened to this latest episode. Great times!

I enjoy the longer shows as long as they are not stuffed with meaningless filler, which I haven't seen yet at all from Ed and crew. There are a lot of great and lengthy discussions that need to be talked about though. Occasionally I'll immediately say "no, that's not right" and then another person on the show corrects the individual and whatnot. Other than that, solid job guys and keep up the good work! Looks like another episode to listen to the News segment and then drop off after it gets into the tournament reports. I'm sick of hearing about the same boring lists fighting the same boring lists. Maybe next year's meta will be more varied.

Sean says "you know, so then you have..." It's how he lets listeners know that his 5 minute long tangent is going to be interrupted by a smaller sub-tangent.

Kris seems very hard to understand sometimes when he is on the show. I cannot tell if it is headset or something else.

More seriously one of the reasons I have been away from the show (other than my lack of play...) has been hardware issues.

I think that I have it fixed now and am back Streaming and hopefully will be able to makeing a contribution to the show for as long as you guys put up with me

There are sentences Sean speaks where, swear to god, every third word is "y'know". Bob can you run the numbers and calculate a "hosting efficiency" based on "y'know" averages to podcast length?

I enjoy hearing a run-through on tournament games from start to finish - those episodes are fun and interesting. I will agree with other posters that the podcast can sometimes be excessive in length, though. It would be good if Ed, as host, could edit the recording or steer the discussion back on track a little so we don't hear, as an example, Sean rambling about BBBBZ for over an hour again.

I hope this doesn't come off sounding critical, but as a rather new player with little experience at a major championship like Nationals or Worlds, I would have liked to hear you and your guests talk a bit less about blow-by-blow recounting of games, and lots more about what the "experience" of going to these events are like. How do you prepare? What kinds of things to expect? Dealing with positive and negative player experiences? As well as general thoughts/feelings about this event vs other's you've been too.

I think the biggest take-away I've had in listening to you these last 8ish months is that when I hear you talk about how many store tournaments, regional championships, and beyond you've collectively been too - I think there is a lot of knowledge beyond what token you've taken that can be shared with people like me who are trying super hard to build a local community bigger than 3 people. I'd love to hear about what these events are like, and how you prepare and manage your time at them - as well as what things you love about them, and what things annoy you to death.

Those are the kinds of things that I'd love to hear about to help me and my wife prepare for next year's events =)

I think this is very true, there's more to a tournament than the ships. and you guys touch on it, but how about alittle more info on your leagues and what exactly goes into them? we hear what you fly, but very little information about league night and the overall league structure.

I am from Wigan, a small ex-mining town in the North West of England, I then spent 12 years based in various parts of Scotland with the Royal Air Force and I now live in Canada.
