That looks gorgeous.

How big is your playing area? Looks like more than 3 feet deep.

Also, are you just using the Nebulon-B as a fixed object in the middle? What kinds of attack capabilities are you giving it?

Yah know, I heard that there is this game called Armada...

...which was useful when building the Nebulon-B to scale with the corvette.

FTFY

We just played the Neb B as a piece of terrain.

@PaulTiberius the mat is 6'x4' but has printed lines on it to use as 6'x3', gives a perfect edge for all the cards!

I recommend checking out Space Rocks - they do some great stuff.

How'd you mount the millennium falcon at that angle? That's sweet.

I'd love one, but can't justify the expense right now :-( (I did just order a stormtrooper uniform, and I really do want either a 2nd xbox one for my wife to play or a gaming spec PC...)

Most likely it's been magnetized.

K, so having looked at space rocks I found this wasn't a $700 shapeways job, and would only cost me 140 of my british pounds to order and ship here to the frozen north.

So thanks guys, my wife will hate you.

Mine is ordered.

It'll be the command ship for Eclipse and Black Omega squadrons for a rather long Imperial campaign, now just needs a name.

That is indeed epic in every sense of the word.

God dammit...

So now I'm drooling to see what an MC30c looks like on the table!!

Thats. So. Epic.

Is it just me or is the spine of the Nebulon somewhat... Tactically and structurally vulnerable?

I think it's actually another one of the Space Rocks terrain pieces - the YT-1300 debris field, to be precise. It looks like it's on a clear acrylic stand like the ones the asteroids I got from them have.

Who cares when you get to see the scale such as this?

You can go play with your 4 little GSD box and we'll get keep all the starfighters (Armada doesn't need them anyways) :P

Not just you. In fact in the original X-wing videogame, the tactical display highlighted it as a weak point.

Is this going to be a thing? If so that'd be amazing.

I suppose it's too much to ask for an Acclamator, that'd be 3 foot long and probably over a grand...

And of course, the Nebulon B does NOT like being broadsided in Armada.

But anyway. I prefer MelsMiniatures version. More expensive? Sure. More detail? Definitely.

Should make a nice 3 section ship. Have 4 section cards, two for the front (to switch from support to escort) one for the center and one for the rear.

Thought about that, but just fore and aft sections for me (so we can have some lovely fly bys and close calls with snubfighters zipping under the connecting spar..)

Makes my Empire at War trigger finger itchy.

Had an idea for putting Star destroyers (in feel-good scale) for allowing such types flights. Basically when ever a ship enters the gap they get to choose over or under and take a token that specifies which side they are on.
