I thought I couldn't be prouder of my nephew but....

By Funkleton, in X-Wing

Not only did he get A* results in his GCSE physics, maths, chemistry, biology and engineering.

But also for his Engineering course he scratch built an R2D2 digital radio alarm clock.

When I asked him what he wanted from his uncle as a reward for his hard work, he said: "there's this thing called the x-wing miniatures game"

I nearly cried :-)

Did you tell him you've never heard of it?

And congrats to him on all that hard work.

Do you think you can stall him for just under a month. Say until 4th Sept?

"Is this the game you meant?"

Your nephew is named click bait?

Otherwise, awesome story!

Let the buying mayhem commence!

And kudos on his nerd project. A proper little Sith apprentice (or foul Jedi Padawan).

Dude. Awesome. You better get him both core sets. Spoil that kid! Though maybe kid isn't appropriate.

Please, if it's OK with him, please post a picture of the alarm clock.

alarm clock goodness =D

With those crazy skills .. let him loose on a CR-90 or Raider and see what modifications he goes with. I'll wager real life working lasers and a true interdictor device that stops his mum from driving out of the garage.

Looks like you'll be playing at family get-togethers.
