Question about Skye

By Omnislash024, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Just wondering if he blocks LOS. It says he can occupy spaces containing other figures but nowhere does it mention this. Any ideas or answers?

Whelp, nevermind.

Normally, a space containing a familiar does not block line of sight or movement, unless otherwise noted on its Familiar card. Any figure may end its movement in a space with a familiar. Likewise, a familiar may end its movement in a space containing a figure.

Yup. Skye is the same classification of thing as the shadow soul. Little more than a marker, granting abilities based on range.

Most familiars also just treat all terrain (except obstacles as water. Skye is special in that she ignores ALL terrain- so she just doesn't care about anything but doing her move action every activation, and then the abilities on her card.

I just put her up to 5 spaces away from Vyrah. Though she can stay there to buff any hero's ranged attacks.

Well, she gets placed in Vyrah's space at the start of his first turn. Then, any time she activates, she can perform 1 move action. If she ends up getting discarded to add damage to an attack, on Vyrah's next turn she'll be placed in his space again.
