The Scimitar Mark II Assault Bomber was a next generation model of the Scimitar assault bomber.

Scimitar is hardly a TIE Bomber variant though. It shares no common components with it.
Canon ones? I don't think there are any at this point. I haven't read through all the new comics yet, but with the canon re-set only the ships explicitly seen in the movies or mentioned in new canon sources are canon. All the old EU is gone.

There's the shuttle variant:
TIE Shuttle and (possibly) TIE boarding craft are the only canon Bomber variants. Or at least that all use the same basic fuselage.
It's sad that I don't need the wiki for most of these questions. Being Star Wars obsessed for almost 40 years will do that.
I think the punishest needs at least two more cockpits, and one of those facing aft. You know, to see the enemy fighters up close when they blow that steroid laced abomination away. Unless it's got double boost and triple SLAM. Then it's AWESOME.
