Im going to go with either the Gunboat followed closely by the Tie Avenger.

Honestly? The Gunboat and Missile Boat. That's all else I really want added to the game.

IF i were to pick only one, the XG-1 Assault gunboat, easily, hands down. Nothing else close. Next on the list - and not even worth it without the gunboat is the DX-9.

Tbh yes they look nice but whats the benefit of this ship? we just recieved a big ordnance carrier in wave 7 und just for the sake of having another ordnance carrier with a big base?

I´d like to see the avenger for i think the exact same reason.... it looks nice! But with TIE/In, advanced and advanced prototype what niches are to be filled? well maybe hands down the first ship in the game with native 1 turns in green? maybe!

but what i think the imperials are really lacking is a small base support ship and the option to get a small turret... because all turrets on small ships are only rebels and scum. So that leaves the Sentinel and the Agressor as the ships i like to see the most.

and this whole typing just made me aware of the following state:

unique faction upgrades:

Rebels: Astromech

Scum: Salvaged Astromech, Illicit

Imperials: none

upgrades that can be fielded by 2 of the 3 factions:

Rebel+Scum: Turret weapon

as well nothing special for imp.

so whats the deal here? at least give us some turrets if we wont get something unique for the imperial armada

Part nostalgia for an awesome game but also it would fill a roll the empire lacks a fighter with more than six hit points, the punisher is a bomber so occupies a different niche.

Rebels have the y-wing and the b-wing both versatile ships that can mount cannons, we have only one the defender, the gunboat would offer a slower more sluggish but tougher option.

If ordnance ever gets fixed the missile boat would be unique, a low primary attack but able to use slam to get into position then rain missiles on their target.

And the avenger totally has a place if the TAP does it could be a supercepter the most agile ship in the empires arsenal but priced so the regular interceptors retain their place as cheaper more fragile knife fighters.

I wonder if we'll ever get a small turret that seems to be the rebels thing look how long we waited for the decimator.

I want Jabba's Yacht mostly. But I can't wait for the Belly-Turret Cog TIE from TFA.

Imperial Y-wing, Cannons, missiles and beefy. Counter to rebels turrets, torpedos and beefy. It has a clear space to fill and it is beautiful.
