Card Art
I forgot to add : click on the image to see it whole.
Magnificient !!! Bravo !
This is amazing, I hope we'll soon see others pictures of yours in CoC LCG.
Really excellent art - I hope to see more of your work in CoC in the future!
Thank you, both! Truth be told I was a bit nervous about the reaction of the community, even more so since, as a a player of CoC (even though a casual one) I wanted to do justice to the game and the setting.
I'm happy to say that more are coming: I've 2 other cards in this run of Asylum Packs and (if all get approuved) 4 in the next one.
Excellent work! Congratulations!
Hope to see your work often in CoC
Cheers!!
I would be delighted to know a little more of your work (and maybe get spoils ^^ for futur AP !!!)
This is a great news to know you're going to illustrate more cards. It's the best thing ever when a player is a able to produce such piece of work for a game he loves !!!
You have no reason to feel apprehensive. Your artwork is amazing and I'm sure will be well received by the CoC crowd.
Great art, Tiziano.
I want to see more of your CoC image cards!
Very, very nice art
Extremely good work !
Very impressive lighting, you did capture the nightmare "effect" very well. No surprise it gets used as the AP cover
Are the others as good as this one ?
Bielius Thank you! I hope to keep on working on CoC for quite a while.
PRODIGEE thank you for asking! This is the link to my CG Society portfolio (a bit of everything, including some AGOT cards as well) I'll be more than happy to post more CoC art but, of course, I've to wait until they are available for sale or are spoiled by FFG itself. You are right, I count myself lucky to be able to turn a passion in a career
Dr. Zoltar Thank you very much, I'm always a bit nervous with a new public, the vision of a universe as rich and complex as the Mythos can be very personal...

I'm honored , more will come

Obliged!
remm Thank you, with this one I tried to 'push' my lightning, happy you like it. As to your question...I'll let the community be the judge, as soon as they come out.
Welcome Tiziano. Greetings from Sarkomand! Nice and scary. Good point about how personal the mythos is for enthusiasts - and that's what I'll focus on. I hope FFG seizes the day. I'll repeat my comments from another thread. I feel like I'm still in the mythos with this new Dreamlands AP cycle. Problem being, Dreamlands is not the mythos. It is a genre all its own. One look at the Chaosium Mythos Dreamlands cards informs how dreamlands "ought" to be depicted. And I'm just not seeing it yet. Look at a few of those locations and you almost don't care that the set was relatively weak. The art is otherworldly and delightfully beautiful. FFG seems to want to focus on a dark mythos thread as it embarks on the dreamlands voyage. Will we ever get there? Will the silver key or white ship really bring us there? Or will we all get mauled in our sleep first?
Well met, johnny, and thank you. Thanks also for the tip about the Chaosium cards, if I'm ever asked to do a Dreamlands location I'll be sure to check them to get the right 'feel'.
As to your question, may I plead 'not guilty' ? ;-) I've no locations in the Dreamlands expansion, on that account I'll just sit back and enjoy the trip as a player. :-)
Although it's not CoC, very nice wolf art too. They seem to like you a lot at FFG, and hopefully you'll keep on working for them for a while
Thank you, I really hope so.
Tiziano's piece is very nice. It fits the storyline well. The Day Night theme pervades the first Dreamlands AP. The Day Dreamer, Dreamlands Wanderer, Everlasting Night, the Hastur Madnesses, Twilight Cannibals and Rituals, the Floodlights cutting through the darkness, Rays of Dawn, Setting Sun. The storyline continues with Tiziano's subject - sleep has its dangers. The slashed character could be Dreamlands Wanderer.
Thank you, Johnny.
Bump for this thread, because Tiziano Baracchi's card Blasphemous Dreams is discussed on a nearby thread: In Dread of Spoiled Shoes.
Last we met on this thread, this was a welcome to a new illustrator and his release of a sanctioned spoil of an upcoming Dreamlands illustration. Now the card is out and part of the game and getting a good review, and looks the strongest "dreamer" card yet. And it's a curse and night mechanic card too.
Way to go Tiziano. Thanks again for being a member of the cthulhu community.
Thank you, Johnny, and thanks to all the community for your welcome, back then, and your continuing appreciation of my work.
It is both an honor and a great pleasure to be part of such a dedicated and passionate community.
Good job, keep 'm coming!
