Welcome back to Wookies on X-Wing, only on the Northern Gaming Network! Jon and Matt are back with the second Round 2 game from the recent Regional Championships held at Gamezilla Fredericton.
Rob and Terry face off in a contest of metagame supremacy, with Rob's BBBBZ going up against Terry's Decimator/Interceptor list.

The thing is making the Rebel Player is ilegal, he should put the dials beside the ships or on the pilot cards. The way he is doing makes me think he reveals and use the maneuvers with the ship most suitable in that moment, not the ship he originally should make that maneuver

That is very odd...I have never encountered anyone set their dials like that before. I would take issue with it.

It isn't a great idea, but I do think that he was positioning his dials relative to the position of the ships. If you look, he reveals the dial for the ship in the same relative position.

I do agree that it would be frustratingly easy to be cheated if an opponent was doing this, but in this case I know rob wouldn't intentionally be cheating his opponent... I think he is picking and choosing which dial to reveal because all of his bwings have the same pilot skill.

I set my dials like this if I'm flying more than 4 ships or when they're in the middle of a fur ball. Otherwise the dials are next to the ships. No one has voiced concern about this yet. I can see where some might be uncomfortable with the practice.

Same, but I do notify my opponent that all the dials are relative to their position in the furball and they acknowledge it. Never been a problem, communication helps! Still, I think the dials should've more closely resembled the formation.
