Our party flys around in a rusty hundred year old Hotaru (ホタル (Firefly)) class ship called Tranquility.

My character's outer-rim home planet somehow got into the middle of a secret cosmic war between ancient force wielders (or their remaining weird hidden 'tech'(?) in the planet's core) and something that's a lot like Force-hating 'Berserkers' (author Fred Saberhagen). Luckily, the Corporate Sector Authority goons who had invaded were (unknowingly) working for the losing side and got all ground up in the final battle inside the planet's core that the party played a pivotal part in.
