The mailman delivered my Raider today and I am so happy! This ship is simply amazing! The bottom 'wings' seem to have the infamous 'warp' but Im not worried about and wont risk trying to straighten them.

Since the ship is new to SW the other ships look great next to it, even at the different scales, because we dont have any iconic reference to say differently! Im glad they came up with this ship! I can see Epic becoming the main thing we play at my house now!

Im now extremely excited for the release of the Gozanti! I can see an Epic Imperial fleet of a Raider escorted by two or three Gozanti's and a substantial fleet of small ships! The Rebels will need another Tantive and a couple of more transports it appears! My 5'x9' game table will accomodate this easily!

Didn't even know this was a thing, now I'm scared of what the postman will bring me on Friday!!! This is what I get for not being patient and picking one up from my FLGS, but living in Alaska makes it sooooo hard...

The bottom wing warp is from The manufacturer definitely not something from shipping. Some have even thought it was the cause of the Raiders delay earlier this year!!

I feel like im the only one who got a Raider that DOESNT have bottom wing warp.

Which both makes me happy , but sad for my fellow players.

My bottom is fine, but my top lleft wing is off by about 1/8 of an inch. I am going to make a little support for both wing tips and it will protect them, and fix the tiny warp. No big deal at all really, and that extra little detail of the new braces will only make it look tougher.

I got my Raider today! It is indeed a beautiful model. The wing on the bottom is not warped but the bottom half of the wing on the right hand side is. Has anyone tried anything that successfully fixed this? I tried searching these forums and doing a google search but to no avail.

My $23 before shipping cost Raider shipping cost I helped justify by buying more Xwing goodness. And then I can stop bragging about it.

Just adding my 2 cents.

My Raider has a bottom wing warped also. No I'm not going to try to straighten it. But my CDO keeps me staring at it constantly.

Bought my Raider today, can't wait to play it - hopefully an epic match with two epic ships controlled by two players and smaller squads led by other players (probably 250pts per side), making people communicate their movements. 6 player 3v3 with two epic ships is a great mode to play for fun with a couple friends!

Not to mention trying out all the cool cards and Sheev himself!

Fortunately mine came with no physical defects whatsoever, nothing broken - quality is great, although the paintjob is fairly lacking in some places (right under the nose and somewhat on the sides), but it can be ignored. Still a fantastic huge ship and a great addition to my collection. Will look fantastic with other ships on the shelf and I can't wait to get it an escort of two Gozanti carriers for the cool factor.

My Raider has no imperfections. Played it on Tuesday and melted a CR90 like Pizza-the-Hutt.
