Can Ganks be Force Sensitive?
Why wouldn`t they? Darth Vader and Luke have cybernetic parts. Ganks have a cybernetics culture, they are still born as sentient, biological creatures.
And no, not more powerful than any other species. Even if the campaign had been all about combat, I would say still not. They look badass(90`s silly badass:p) but are not overpowered or unbalanced. In my game they all look like versions of the two guys from Daft Punk.... Daft Gank 
I would strongly advise such a player to start his PC out as a dark sider, given the nature of Ganks. In any case, I would require that he take on a Morality in addition to his Obligation.

Going against the nature of ones species can be very interesting and rewarding. There are lots of non-stereotypical characters in Star Wars. And if this player is the first gank i this game, he or she can define what a Gank actually is in this version of the Star Wars universe.
OP, no, they don`t get an actual armor included, but they get cybernetics worth 5000(?) + extra if you take more Obligation for it. The armor can of course be part of them as flavour. And they can of course buy it if they havee enough to spend.

They absolutely can. The only species released so far that cannot be Force sensitive is Droid; which explicitly state that they cannot be Force sensitive.

Rules don't state that they can't be FS.
Why would they get armor included? It's not in their statblock.
They are just another species; whether they are better or worse than other species depends a lot on what they are doing and which species they are compared to, but they seem pretty balanced.
