The mods, right now, are basically the guy with the job of walking behind a horse cleaning up brown, steaming piles. The people who won't quit creating more work for them are the part of the horse most responsible for the piles.

For a value of "treating their customer base badly" that means "enforcing their contractual agreement with Lucasfilm licensing", sure.

Sure it is. This is FFG's site and so the 1st amendment does not apply, there is no freedom of speech here. If people are using this form to discuss that is illegal, or in this case a violation of a contract, then it's the only way to go.

That doesn't keep us from discussing about it. We aren't subject to that contract.

No we're not. But FFG is and will delete tbreads and ban posters for doing stupid stuff because they're bound by a contract.

As to second comment it is not your place or anyone else who is NOT a FFG representative to enforce anything . FFG can do anything it wishes on the other hand. As you are not a FFG representative my statement holds true.

A sticky with clear restrictions on this board concerning the leaked content would be appropriate from FFG.

They could do much better communicating with the customer base in regards to this issue.

You're going to blame FFG for following contract law? Young or nuts? FFG is not treating their customers badly. They're trying to follow a legal and binding agreement. Maybe. Maybe they can't say anything because doing so is admitting to what they have made and they're not allowed to do that. a DNA means you're not allowed to talk about something, you can't even admit that you signed a DNA in the first place.

People are just going to KEEP posting about the leak. And not due to being jerks... many people probably don't come here every 30 minutes.... so they probably simply don't know. Some young lady or man who see this leaked info somewhere may come here, browse the forums, and see nothing about a leak, and simply think they are the first. People don't know NOT to post the stuff. Granted those of us who've been following the board for the past 24 hours know it, but for crying out loud, it's hard to blame those who keep posting, when they have no real way of knowing that they shouldn't be posting it.
