Working on a Campaign Guide

If you're familiar with the campaign rules for games like Warmachine or the Kill Teams unofficial ruleset for Warhammer 40,000, you'll have a pretty good idea of what it is that I wanna work towards. Essentially, you would generate a captain who would gain experience and abilities, and play missions either solo, alongside NPCs, or with other players, in scenarios controlled by a game master. You can customize and upgrade your ship as you progress, eventually creating a unique and legendary vessel.

I think it'd be exceptionally fantastic if you could combine this campaign guide with Edge of the Empire and other such star wars RPGs to create a great adventure.

Here's a rough example of the character traits table one would roll on for their captain.

Would be Wary with Inspiring as if you have seen the ISD preview it has a card that reduces the command dial stack also by one. Imagine an ISD as flexible as a corvette!

Just needs to have "does not stack with card effects that lower command stack" or something similar. That is if he wants to prevent it.

I love the idea of having a campaign where a number of players are a beleaguered and outnumbered forced of Rebel ships trying to complete objectives against a superior Imperial force. I love the game, but it's always weird to see equal matches between the Empire and the Rebellion.

You know, after playing some Victoria 2 (paradox ftw) I was just thinking about something like this. Although I would have 2 or more traits, at least a background and a personality trait. And hopefully make the bonuses a little bit smaller, like: "When defending, you may discard this card to reroll an opponents die" or something.

I like this. Keep it up! I might use this in my league play!
