I have a small deflect that is easily repairable, but I am terrible at matching paint schemes. I am wondering, if the forum knows a suitable paint to match the main grey? I have made the same request of customer service and I will notify the forum with their responce.

Try Vallejo Game Color Ghost Grey (Citadel Ulthian Grey) with a light wash over it.
You can test on the base under the template 
I wish FFG would just release a paint set for the base colors at least

I think Ulthuan Gray is far too light. It is my go-to color for repainting Rebel ships, and it lightens them up significantly. It will depend upon how heavily you apply the wash over the top.

The panel on the bottom of my raider is pretty badly warped on one side. Not noticeable on the table because it is on the bottom but somewhat disappointing after spending a not inconsiderable chunk of change at my FLGS for the ship.

All the ones that came to our store had that problem too. The support peg on the bottom makes the repair job even more difficult. Doable though. Eventually someone will have to make a video. I would be surprised if the Tie panels were not the reason for the extended "At the Printer" time for the Raider. The ship is sexy as hell but those panels are a tough engineering problem. Plastic too stiff and they will be breaking constantly. Too flexible and you end up with warped panels. Wonder if FFG would toss me some acrylic tokens to quiet my whining about warped panels.

I trimmed some molding flash from the edges of mine. It looks alright.
you could paint them ALL in any color so it wouldn't have to match... Did that recently with my bathroom.. only needed to paint a section that was water damaged but did two walls corner to corner so the new paint would match and if it didn't who cares as it made a neat effect. how ever the paint did match quite nicely..

I will defently look in to "Vallejo Game Color Ghost Grey," I have found that I like the Vallejo paints over the Citadel paints.
To answer Sacimino40's question, my imprefection can be located by have the front of the ship facing you on the left side the second row of batteries. The top plate has roughly 1.6mm divot that ends in a .7mm hole. Problay caused by an air pocket in the molding process.
While, I did not lick it, I did gaze apon it, admiring the angles, imagining duo Defenders flanking it as it blasts the Rebel scum to space dust.
