If I were to play Edge of the Empire, with Force Sensitive characters, and I didn't want to buy Force and Destiny, could I use the Specialization Decks from F&D to advance the characters or would I still need the core book?

I believe none of the specialization decks have a talent tree layout. Not to mention that price-wise, it just makes more sense to buy the FaD core as opposed to buying mountains of decks. You could just download the FaD talent trees, but only snag there is you'd still be missing out on expanded talent descriptions (which usually give a number of clarifications).

Had a feeling book would be best.
