September 4th is not the announcement date for Episode VII merchandise. It is the ON SALE DATE.

The FFG CEO said that if you wanted to wait in line at a midnight release there would be something from FFG for you. That maybe a bad paraphrase but I got the impression that they planned to have stuff shipped and on sale on Sept 4th.

I have to say, I'm keen on the whole "Purposed Leak for Marketing Numbers" thought process. Its been done in the past many times by many companies. And, on a twisted note...JJ Abrams loves viral advertising (if anyone recalls Cloverfield), so using strange tactics to get people psyched over something seems legitimate to me. That is, if Disney supports his ways of doing things.

I suspect that the other two SKUs are for individual items that are already in the leaked product.
