Yeah.. when I saw the 25 meters in the wookie I was a bit surprised. It doesn't look like it should be that long. That's longer than a Shuttle.

Neat idea - would be cool to see a multi-faction kit come out.

This would also make Mara a Multi-faction character (like the Fett and Kath)

When it comes to the Skipray I believe it would come out looking a lot like the YT-2400 does now. It would have a modest (ie weak) turret as a "primary" weapon but would assume that a Cannon Upgrade would usually be carried. One of these new cannons would be some kind of Heavy Ion Cannon. After that it would have a couple ordnance slots and maybe a crew slot.

No offense, but that is an extremely steep price to pay unless you expect all of your targets to be unshielded large ships. You can argue about how much more valuable 'critical' damage would be over normal damage but paying twice as much in points and slots with range restrictions makes this absolutely worthless against small ships.

I'd expect an expensive upgrade that could had out a couple of Ion Tokens but I'd likely having it roll more dice and NOT cancelling out the results.

I actually think it would be OP at least against large bases. Very easy to just walk them off the board. Maybe tone it down to 1 ion and two damage. That way it would be hard to hit anything with +3 agility, but if you do it will do decent damage and Ion them.

6 points is probably too much, maybe like 4 or 5.

25 meters is almost exactly twice the length of an X-wing, which really isn't totally unreasonable for a small base. I could see it either way, since it doesn't have the bulk of a Lambda-class shuttle or the wingspan, but the large base is probably the better bet. I know that some options exist for minis, but I'm unsure of how they scale or what it really looks like next to an existing mini - discussions of size & scale are all well & good, but SEEING it with a size reference is the only way for me to wrap my head around it.

No, but we DEFINITELY need more ships with turret upgrade slots - if only so there's another source for the Twin LaserTurret upgrade card.

I was actually disappointed the JM5000 was a PWT instead of a turret upgrade (doesn't mean I won't be getting one!)

Funnily-enough the Skipray's turret is a TLT, and if it was implemented cross-faction that'd be a really good source even if they only did 1 copy.

It'd fit in a normal-size Large box, but with the amount of cardboard/stock I could see it in a Deci/MW box.

My biggest issue with the skipray as a boat is while it's faster, it's limited cargo space means it can't carry nearly enough of wave 7 to fulfill demand.
