Thanks. The art is mostly from FFG or WoTC except for the AFMKII. These look great printed. I have them doubled up in sleeves in front of the official card. This gives them the right weight and official backs. I have the Wave II ships mostly mocked up now. Just waiting for the final stats. I'll get pics of everything up later this week after my Space Rocks arrive.

The ship tray is up now, but you may want to hold off until tonight before ordering. I'm thinking that if I stack 4 on the same print the total cost may be cheaper than if bought separately.

Turns out that stacking products has little to no effect on Shapeways pricing. So I'll just leave it as a single tray.

The ship tray is genius. How easily can you flip cardboard defense tokens in the slots?

Also, your links to the various BGG pages are muddled. You have them all going to your alt-art card page.

Odd. The links are fixed now.

The the defense tokens have about 1mm clearance around them and the tokens are about .5mm taller than the frame. They rest loosely but stay in position. I find them easy to flip, especially if you pick them up from the wider gap at the top/bottom. I can experiment with a small depression at the sides to give more grip.

There is also a dual purpose 4th defense token slot also. This has an inner frame to hold an id marker, but with work 4 defense tokens for the large wave 2 ships.

£8 for the tray seems reasonable to me, I was expecting something higher!

What is the finish like on the black plastic from Shapeways? Will the finished tray have lots of lines and fuzzy edges?

Does Shapeways still have the issue with their prints needing to be shaved down?

When I started this I was more focused on printing these myself, so I have not ordered any of from Shapeways yet. That said from their stuff that I have seen, the quality should be very good. The surface will be a bit grainy, but not fuzzy. I have not order much from them in the past, and I am not aware of the need to shave anything down.

I have updated the items on Shapeways and now have all tokens modeled. Mission, Objective, Initiative, Ship/Sqaud IDs. Even the new Cancel Crit defense token from wave 2.

As I've said on BGG, awesome stuff err404. I ordered a damage deck holder from shapeways and will post some photos once I receive it. Planning on getting all the other goodies as well, just have to spread it out since those costs add up!
