So, someone on here posted some pictures of products that FFG apparently isn't allowed to show anyone yet. They immediately deleted the thread, and then deleted some more threads trying to show the pictures and again....

I don't know how many threads have been deleted so far, but it has been several.

Basically, FFG could get in trouble if a leak like that occurred on their website, so everyone should probably calm down a bit and not try and post those pictures here.

Apparently they are popping up elsewhere, but keep them off FFG's site until they are allowed to show them. We don't want anything to happen to FFG or their SW license, after all.

There's some pics on facebook. After they first couple links went down I came to the same decision as Forgottennlore, it's probably for the best to not post them, so Disney doesn't take it out on FFG. That would be bad.

Don't know if he is in any trouble where he works, but I PMed him and he said his posts are now being moderated.

I'm also guessing that checking his posts and approving them are not high on the moderators list of things to do right now.

It it was pretty unrealistic of Disney to believe they could keep it under wraps for so long. Stuff has been leaking for toys etc for a while now.

I'm not sure how this could possibly have been expected to stay under wraps until September 4th if it was also scheduled for release on that date, and Disney is foolish if they believed otherwise.

That's a level of optimism that cannot be sustained based on everything everyone on the planet should know about the nature of humans on the internet.

Better to just give us the official news release today.

Remember the Spanish Distributor that leaked the wave 7 stuff? yea this wasn't going to stay in wraps.

Could you imagine feeling the wrath of Disney? It would bring a sith lord to his knees.

They're not gonna get in trouble. Ffg did nothing wrong. Other than listen to Disney. They are doing what they need to do. Disney on the other hand needs to wake up and smell the wifi. Their D23 convention this weekend was the perfect time to officially announce all the products. They wasted that opportunity.

Frankly the fact they stayed hidden this long is impressive.

Agreed with ForgottenLore. Out of respect for the company that brought us all here together, we shouldn't post the images on these forums.

Whether we agree that it was impossible to hide the news or not is beside the point with regard to any legal action that may be taken against FFG.

FFG needs to be able to demonstrate, if and when asked, that they made an effort in good faith to keep the embargo in place. Prompt and thorough moderation ought to meet that standard, so I suspect they'll be fine.

They would have told us by now if they could. I doubt FFG realistically thought it was possible. This embargo comes straight from the Mouse

That's because Hasbro don't rip people's arms out of their sockets when their products leak. Disney is known to do that.
