What paint did you use for C3PO? I used a darker gold, anything I had just looked too dark.

Thank you! Yes, they were at Gen Con, but not at the FFG booth. I believe there was some sort of issue where they couldn't sell it because Hasbro had the rights to a Star Wars game. There was a booth right outside FFG that had them.

P3 has this really nice Blighted Gold, which I painted over brown for C-3PO. Then I did layers of their Runic Gold (I believe), and then highlights of gold and then a gold and silver mix plus darker and lighter silver for his leg (I couldn't remember when he has the silver leg). The one issue I had with him (and am not sure how to fix without green stuff) is that his eyes are so sunken in this mini, so you can't really see his eyes, so it changes his look.

I really liked the sculpts for the two new heroes--they were very detailed and painted up well. They might be my two favorite heroes from an appearance standpoint. Also, I had a lot of little bones from a press mold, so those were fun to bury in the sand for the heavy troopers and Tusken raiders.

Your paintjob is very nice, especially digging on boba... can't wait for my shipment from CSI to come. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Saska's sculpt. Something about the baggy pants, hiking boots, and ribbed-vest-training-bra thingy that just looks... strange for lack of a better word. Like it is a contemporary outfit with a couple odds and ends thrown on in an attempt to bring it into the Star Wars universe.

Thanks! Yeah, the halter top is an odd design, I agree. Maybe it's a fashion statement in Mos Eisley.
