Force Sensitive Clones?

By RodianClone, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Could a clone of a non-force sensitive be Force sensitive?

In the first episode of Clone Wars, Yoda tells a group of clone troopers they all look the same, but to him they are all different, because the Force is different in all of them. I`m paraphrasing.

Also, all the clones have different personalities.

Based on this, I would say there is no reason why a clone of a non-Force sensitive could be Force sensitive and vice versa.

.. And I just watched the scene where Qui-Gon Jinn explaines to Anakin what the ...m-word(&%@!!) is. And he actually doesn`t say it`s what the force is made of, just microscopic life-forms we need to stay alive, so I guess they are more like Star Wars-bacteria... Maybe they flip out and multiply or reproduce when the Force is around :P But from what Jinn say in the scene, that`s it, the Force is a seperate entety from the m-word( :( )

is just an external indicator of "magic" aka. the Force.. Oh, sith, I shouldn`t have mentioned m-word, should I? Now this thread will be about that :-/ ...

About Force, it is stated and many fans agree that M-word is for the "Living force", that some force users believe that there is such thing as living Force, that it is sentient and has it's own mind.

That's why people touched by Force is guded all over the place.

You can read about them Here The force Living Force, Unifying Force.... Etc.

As in books and other ppl say, That M-word is the thing - If you want to believe, then do it if not, then forget about it. It is after all, a option for ppl to explain unexplainable.

But there was character, who was faulty clone because he was touched by the force. Tho' the original and clones before him wasnt Force-sensitive.

That's why they wanted him to be destroyed, but then came The Luke Skywalker and saved the day. And That clone became pretty strong Jedi master and sacrificed himself to safe planet or smth. (details)

And as for cloning, Cloning Click you can read there.

And you can take cloning the same as twins, tho they are the same, there is few quirks that differ them.

If your clones are rised the same way and are integrated with the exactly the same expierences and memories and feelings as the original, then it will be exact copy as original, but if they have diffrent expierences and feelings, then they can look the same, but they will have their own toughts and personalities.

Short answer: I don't see why not! Sounds like a fun origin story.

Isn`t he the clone of Count Dooku? So that doesn`t quite answer my questions. But still interesting, thanks:)

It's your world, why not. Heck, the EU even had an astromech droid that could use the Force (really). So, there are pretty much no bounds that haven't been touched already.

Hmm, force sensitive vegetation...scary, dark, evil force-using forest.... Or has that also already been done?

No, he was a standard clone (presumably a clone of Jango), who was infused with The Force via a Kaiburr crystal. The blurb at the top of the Wookiepedia article is inaccurate - the correct part is further down:

His dangerously enhanced Force powers were given to him when Count Dooku channeled Force energy from an extremely powerful Kaiburr lightsaber crystal into his cloning chamber.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but sounds a lot like Degobah to me...

AKA The Forcening

The EU Lore on Dagobah is that

when Yoda traveled to Dagobah, he found a dark jedi there and defeated him. The dark side corruption in the cave he was living in served to mask Yoda's presence making him hard for a force user to detect. That same cave was the one Luke ventured into in Empire.
