I still like that red combination with the turquoise blue. But dat bluey-greeny CR90's roight shoiny! I like it. Are you using them as titled or individual ships, breaking with the predominant red colour scheme? The engine glow is pretty effective too, was it just regular layering or was there a first coat glaze?

Apparently Elite Imperial pilots no longer fly Interceptors or Defenders but overdesigned TIE fighters with way too many guns for a single pilot to operate effectively. But that's none of my business

This TIE has a cockpit built for TWO actually, so it's not just one dude doing everything.

Love the paint jobs on the TIEs, VSD and GSDs.

I started working on the MC80. So far just a basecoat and a very light wash.

Next I will be adding some coloured panels similar to the FFG paintjob.

I am really liking the red rebel fleets. It is nice to see some alternate color schemes for the rebels. I hope the MC80 does not end up being too imperial-y with the red though.

Oh man, those CR90s are fantastic. Sure, they look different from the painting "meta" but who cares? This is the Rebellion, uniqueness is encouraged. The metallic flavor of the green one mixed with the "almost-but-not-quite" camo is my favorite.

Currently addding more little details before I move to battle damage and start edge highlighting.

After I'm done I recon I'll be seeing highlighted panels for a week.

I have finally resumed work on my MC80. For a ship that's been painted months ago, never varnished and then played in most games since it held up nicely
