So I haven't had a chance to read through all the core books. Just bits and pieces here and there. But with Force and Destiny I'm trying to read it from cover to cover. After doing that what would I need to read from the Edge of the Empire and Age of Rebellion cores to be caught up on those lines? Which chapters are specifically about those lines?

Roughly the latter half of chapters 10 and all of 11. Ten has the different planets described, while eleven is particular about the setting. Chapters 12 and 13 are (respectively) adversaries and the corebook adventure, which are different, of course.

Edit: and the Game Master chapter, while having much the same information, will be phrased for the game line you're in and has some differing advice.

Careers and talents are different. Force chapters will have differences..

Species are different (mostly) too. There is some overlap here and there, but it's mostly new.

Oh, yeah and most important thing - The artwork is diffrent.
