Twin Shadows mission report: Hunted Down
Sadly I believe you ended this mission prematurely.
Reading the article, you ended the mission when Han died--if you reread the winning conditions for Imperials, all heroes AND Han need to be wounded to fail.
SON OF A GUN. I figured that was too squishy a target, but I guess it's too late since we've already moved on and played the second mission. Next time, though...
I lost this mission as Imperial, but on the very last turn, and I honestly could have won it if I had paid better attention.
Biv had the 'code' token, and had 1 health left, everyone else was wounded. I had stormtroopers and Boba bottlenecking the entrance to the Docking Bay for about 2 rounds, forcing people to pay dearly to get through.
Biv went last, and used a double move and strain to get next to the terminal, but was out of actions, and the round ended. I had the Weary Target XP card, which makes 1 hero who isn't strained out take 2 strain. I THOUGHT Biv was strained out, so I just threw it to another hero... and all my friends started laughing and high-fiving.
Apparently Biv only had 3/4 Strain tokens, and if I would have chosen him, he would have taken 1 strain and 1 health, killing him and finishing the round in my favor. Instead, he rolled to interact with the terminal and succeeded, winning for the Rebels.

Oh Dang! Read too quickly. Thanks for pointing that out. Although I think it was on the 2nd to the last round when Han died, and the Rebels were all very far away. It's unlikely they would have been able to complete the mission in the last round. Maybe. At least that's what I'll tell myself to make it ok.
Thanks for reading!
Trying hard not to look at the articles because I dont think I wanna know. But wann ask a question that I still have no answer for.
So can you use heavy stormtroopers and tuskans in a normal campaign or are they only for Shadows?
I am guessing you can get Kayn from his agenda which you can just add to the normal campaign?

You can use the Tuskens (provided the mission is using desert tiles) and the Heavy Stormtroopers like regular open groups.
Kayn and Boba can be used if you get them as allies from their agenda sets. Their agenda missions require some tiles from Twin Shadows though.
So if you get their figure packs but no the Twin Shadows box you can't run their agenda sets.
I would assume that the Heavies and Tusken's are available to choose in the same ways all the core figures are available.
I doubt they would limit the figures to just that specific expansion.
That said, the Tusken's are obviously limited by their Habitat keyword, but not from turning up in Desert based missions in Core missions.
Thanks for the answers!
It was the whole "you are limited to the models in the core set" in the rulebook that made me wonder. Great to hear you can use them as normal open groups in other campaigns also.
I thought it wold be like this but who knows...
It will be interseting to spice up the normal campaign with the new stuff, bothe the heroes and villains.

We started up an expanded campaign from the core set, adding in new characters--adding in Heavies more frequently alongside the Tuskens have changed up several missions already! I've won missions as Imperial that I had lost in the first round, so I think they definitely help out.
