Okay so this is my first time on this forum. My boyfriend is playing his first tournament right now, I'm sitting off to the side watching (I'm not ready to play one yet) but the guy he is playing against I've been informed cheats is why I'm watching. I have a few questions:

1. When rolling for damage from an asteroid if you roll a crit, do you still take damage?

2. Do obstacles still prove the extra evade on secondary or just primary attacks?

The rule for asteroids is that you roll 1 red die and take whatever the result is--so if it's a hit you take a hit, and if it's a crit you take a crit.

2. Do obstacles still prove the extra evade on secondary or just primary attacks?

All obstructed shots allow the defender to roll an extra green die.

Two things to note:

1) If the opponent is running a Dash Rendar YT2400 - he can fly over obstacles without having to roll a damage die.

2) If he has a Dash Rendar Crew card, he can fire while parked on an obstacles and ignore them when he shoots through them.

Note - he CAN NOT use both of these at the same time - since they are the same unique individual.
