The ultimate blocker! The Cutlass Squadron Pilot.

By devotedknight, in X-Wing

The ultimate blocker:

Cutlass Squadron Pilot (21)

Enhanced Scopes (1)

With a few Proximity Mines. You will move first,so just jump over your opponent, and drop one right on him. and you can have up to 4 bombs

Can't beat the TIE Academy.

How is this blocking? Sounds like dropping a bomb on someone, just at PS0.

Well, First you move before pilot skill one does, (That would be before the Academy Pilots.) one round. The bombs are just a bonus, to be use on the next round after you blocked.

Nope, can't be Trandoshan Slaver with navigator, intel agent, and maneuvering fins.

Also can't beat int agent warden

**** just feels like cheating, but it also feels so good :)

Lambda, Intel agent, sensors, amtipersuit lasers

Oh and large base blocks best.

I think a K Wing with an Intel Agent would make a better blocker. See what your opponent's maneuver is, do a 'general purpose' maneuver, and then if need be SLAM in front of it for the block.

It is ALMOST as good as a Sigma + Intel Agent + Enhanced Scopes + SPA.

:P

But to each his own.

Can't beat the TIE Academy.

I think the ORS makes the best moving wall. Hey who want ion projectors?

I don't know what the Intel agent is for, you can't modify your movement at all.

I need to try this as a blocker:

Omicron Group Pilot (21)

Enhanced Scopes (1)

Ion Cannon (3)

Mara Jade (3)

Ion Projector (2)

Total: 30

With a block you have a 50/50 chance to leave someone Ion'd and stressed. If you can spare 2 points you can even throw on a tactician.

Can't beat the TIE Academy.

"moving" is a very generous term :P
