Something that needs optimizing (for instance, probably get rid of Rhymer), but I wanted to see if something could be done with Ozzel's cannibalizing shields for energy in order to selectively kill at a distance.



To get the most out of your range 4-5 shots, I would think you'd want sensor team.

I haven't gotten much Raider practice in yet, but based on the few times I've tried it (not real games, just practicing), I'm wondering if quad lasers are even needed on the Aft section. It seems to me that if you can focus on keeping enemies from getting in close or behind the raider (and the 2 ion batteries help here) you can kill enemies before they get in close. Dropping them would free up the points to grab the sensor team and save you some energy in the long run (don't need to power the extra hardpoint...)
